DELHI CLUB HOUSE

RK PURAM, NEW DELHI

Return to the reminiscence of the Raj-era clubs, when nothing tasted quite as good as cold coffee & egg sandwiches by the pool. Cafe Designed by Headlight Design supported by Ava studio, The 96-seater Delhi Club House takes the best of that & upraises it, delivering it in a well-lit, jolly & airy space by day. The snooker-table-green accents & white-washed walls offset the heavy-set antique bar; brass trimmings complete the look with low-hanging lampshades.

THE BLACK RABBIT

INDIRANAGAR, BENGALURU

The idea of eating in a shed may not seem attractive initially, but hold your fire till you see it. With wood-panelled walls & wooden rafters overhead & brick-tile flooring underfoot, this restaurant and Bar Design has a separate farmyard feel to it, more chic than rustic. Chalkboards sit above the bar with the day’s menu scrawled (sometimes drawn) onto them. Smooth lighting makes for a kind atmosphere, and the décor, though sparse, is not unfavorable. Lendign an air of whimsy are 16 large hand painted bells that swing from the centre of the ceiling & purpose as lights.

CRAFT

KURLA, MUMBAI

Classically, dining inside a shopping mall isn’t our cup of tea. However, Craft has got our consideration. Restaurant Decor Ideas‘s concept that the team must showcase their craft—diners sitting in private stands can enjoy watching chefs turning up the heat & bartenders muddling drinks. Many exposed light bulbs hang down from the ceiling over the tables. On exterior, it’s all diffused sunlight in, yes, and a spacious sun-lit alfresco area.

LIMA

BANDRA KURLA COMPLEX, MUMBAI

The beans have lastly been spilled on this one. At the city’s wonderful new Peruvian-inspired restaurant, faded grandeur is the mood. The dark blue & brass-finish bar, which is the focus of the lounge, contrasts sharply with the taupe walls, & the grass-like ceiling gives you the sensitivity like you’re sitting upside down. During the day, sunlight streams through the white shutter doors, while in the evenings, classical chandeliers set the mood for Pisco Sours & a Peruvian-style celebration. It’s one of the best Restaurant Decor Idea.

BAR PALLADIO

NARAYAN SINGH CIRCLE, JAIPUR

Bar Palladio is a instance of Venice meets Jaipur, interpreting a blue & white tableau of design elements, which are iconic & resoundingly echo both cities. A Jaipur artist has painted paintings of local bird life in the inmost segment of the bar, whereas the bar itself has lions imprinted in marble, evocative of early-20th-century Venetian cafes. The spaces are well-matched with easy conversations over the Italian menu & classic cocktails, including what is questionably Jaipur’s best Long Island Iced Tea. For sunsets that are pleasant, the white and blue canopies in the garden are an appealing option.

MALABAR JUNCTION

FORT KOCHI, KOCHI

Close to Fort Kochi’s pleasant Malabar House hotel, at Malabar Junction—works of local craftsmen & artists spot the space. Restaurant Decor Idea is like diners can either choose to take a seat in the courtyard, near the swimming pool or upstairs in what is a wine lounge. The restaurant’s austere furniture has been up cycled from a defunct but historical Fort Kochi eatery. During evenings, all eyes shift to the stage as the courtyard comes alive with traditional oil lamps.
